Headliner glue suggestions?

A while back I redid my falling headliner using several of the posts here as a guide. I did the job right - pulled out the panels and removed the headliner. I cleaned off all the old foam, scrubbed with a brush and shop-vac'd to remove all dust. Then I used 3M Super 77 spray glue to attach the new fabric (a foam-backed fabric I bought specifically for car headliners). I left the headliner upside-down to let the glue set up for two hours before I re-installed everything.

Long story short: The next day when the sun came out the fabric began to sag.
Ever since then, I have to push my headliner up when I get in the car after the sun has been out (I live in Puerto Rico where the 'winter' is 70 F). The fabric stays up as long as the temperature in the car is low.

Can anybody recommend a different glue? I did the job right the first time and now I want to half-ass it. It would be nice to find a spray glue that I can spray ON TOP of the exisiting glue that will fix the problem altogether. I REALLY do not want to repeat the process with new fabric and all that labor.

Suggestions?

Try the 3M Super 90. It's much, much stronger than the Super 77. As long as you aren't hanging anything heavy (like vinyl), the Super 90 should do the trick.

If that doesn't work, try hitting up a re-upholstery shop. They have large buckets of industrial strength glue that they use, and they should be able to spray your headliner for you.

I just went to 3M's website... they recommend a Super 76, which is supposed to be high-tack and high temperature resistant.
Super 77 is a general purpose glue.
They also recommend Super 90.
It all depends on what is available in my area; Home Depot only carries the Super 77.
Thanks for your help!

I use the Loc-tite Adhesive glue for upholestery, it can be found at most Fabric Stores. Works great, it wont sag even if you hang leather or vinyl up there! Two thumbs up! But it's kinda pricey at $13 a can!
