I live in the middle of f'ing nowhere and I can't get 3m 74 unless I special order it and wait until friday for it,

will 3m 77 work in its place? it says it bonds certain types of foam which is what i'm of course dealing with?

any thoughts on it, experience?

thanks

do you not live near a wal-mart or similiar? Wal-mart carries headliner adhesive. I don't think I used the exact adhesive shown in the tech article, but something close. Worked great.

I found 77 at walmart and didn't think to look in there auto dept. for any other headliner adhesives.

I found one at schucks that I had tried before and it lasted all of 2 days before it fell down again so i'm trying to do this right (it could have fallen down again because I didn't scrape all the foam the first place but I don't know and would prefer to not risk it.)

everyone, including the storeroom at WSU has 77 but NOBODY has 74 in stock :(

I even called the home depots with an hour drive of me and they don't have it.

Thats the same stuff I used. Its been two years and mine is still holding up. Make sure you scrape all of that nasty foam off of the headliner!
