Can't find egt..

Hey guys, I found this thread on here a while back, that had a link to a site that sold the Autometer Phantom Series EGT guage that would go 0-2000F. Mine goes 0-1600F aand every site i look at has that one. Do you guys know where i can find that one that ran from 0-2000F? I'm pretty sure they have one, if that does not exist, is there anything simliar to it? White face, red backlight, red needle, black numbers??

The site I buy all my gauges from: egauges.com. They are the cheapest and have a GREAT selection. Here's what I found on there:

Try extremepsi.com. I almost 100% sure they have them. I have the 0-1600F and just to let you know i don't get anywhere near that temp. But, if you want the 0-2000F then go for it! Good luck

The gauge code is 5745, so if that price doesnt excite you, google autometer 5745 and reap the results.

thank you ericbev, that is EXACTLY what i was looking for...i knew i wasnt crazy...i called 10 places, including EGAUGES, they said they never made the autometer phantom 0-2000F.

now another question can i just order the guage and hook it up to my exisiting probe and stuff? I got a working EGT gauge, i just want the one that goes up to 2000F, so just wondering if it would be compatible, or the thing that measures the temperature has to be different. i hope im making sense. someone help me out!!

Autometers website is being a douche so I cant even attempt to find the info. From what I gathter, there are 3 types of probe units they sell. Since their site was not responding you could look on there later and/or call them to see what the deal is. No use in buying a new thermocouple if yours can read to 2000 with accuracy. Of course, if your current probe already has some decent miles on it, you might just want to replace it with a TRE unit for accuracy/speed/safety sake.
