Can't find hoses

So I found these two nipples right under the throttle body and I really don't know where they're from..

I don't know how to post pics but ill provide a link to show you guys what I'm talking about..

You can clearly see them in the second and third picture. Where and what do these hoses do?

So they're coolant lines according to the article but where do they go to?

I feel like an idiot. I was just looking at the first pic and the hoses come from the housing.

One goes to the water pipe, and the other goes to the thremostat housing.
