Headlights

O.K. So I just bought these projector headlights and during the install I started to do a lil adjusting for the positions of these suckers. Well, as I was turning the main adjusting knob, it went pop! What popped? Possibly a washer at the end of the retaining screwed up bolt pos! Any guesstamates?
