If your reading this you are probably on the verge of pulling your hair out from seeing this title so frequently, but I doubt it is the same question.

I've ran into this problem twice now on both my gs-t's. I buy a set of projector headlights screw them in and all seems well and good, then I go to connect the wires for the headlights (not the halo's) and low and behold the plugs do not match up.....WHAT THE _____!

Any help or direction here would be outstanding, thanks guys.

Yeah its very odd in my opinion, did you have problems with the passenger side plug? How well do that work without the plug? Im not too fond of splicing wires, but w.e is necessary.

quit cutting your effing plugs off guys. its not that hard to just take the pin out of the connector and push it into one that will work. I guess you could keep doing it if you like electrical problems down the road. Half of you people wont even touch a soldering iron. crimp on connectors seem to be a favorite for the lazy dsm owner.

But why not just use uncut factory connections? Youll get the work done in twice the amount of time and youll eliminate a large chance of having any problems with it down the road.

I'm not sure about the OP.
But the headlight that I had problems with had some strange type of connector on it.
The OEM headlight I replaced was trashed, so I cut the plug off of it and used it on the "new" headlight with the funky connector on it.
This was about a year ago with no problems.
I agree that you don't want to cut anything and splice if possible. But in this case the worst scenario would be having to get a new headlight.
I wish I would of took pictures of the connection it had...
I'm going to look through the garage tonight and see if I kept the plug I cut off.
