i was driving normal speed on the interstate at 60 temp in the middle and then i heard a tick and then i look back and there is smoke ever time i let of the gas and push it back down to normal then i look at the temp it goes all the way up to hot so i stoped and check the water and it was empty i waited then filled it and did not make it more than 2 blocks and its smoking and its hot so i wait and stop and wait til it cools off and then wait again what do u think?

Well the same thing happened to me. It was just a heater hose was sliced, i have a 2g and on them, it's located between the back of the engine, going to the firewall, you may want to check that, cheap fix, but it's in a bi*** of a spot. Otherwise check the Thermostat
