I got my gf a 4-1 Ceramic OBX header for her 5g Civic (non vtec).. gains were decent I guess, altho i couldnt really tell cuz I got her everything all at once ..

since you are buying them off of ebay, get the ones by a company called ssautochrome. ive heard a lot of good stuff about them and they are pretty cheap

i looked on ebay for that brand havnt seen it ..... is Pacesetter or even the dc sport 4-2-1 any good??? im looking to get to get a 4-2-1 header any brand realy but not to expensive... thanks

i havnt heard too much good about pacesetter so i would go with dc sports. as far as not seeing ssautochrome.........i just checked ebay and didnt see them either. i remember seeing somethin about them changing their seller name so i dont know whats going on with that

I hear that dc sport headers or headers all together dont help much on are 420A engine. what do you have on your car and did u notice the diff when u drove wit it on ....??? thanks...

i never put a header on because i plan to boost in the coming months. as far as a power gain from a header, what you heard is true. a header wont yield all that much power. it is an important factor in the exhaust flow of the car and is worth the money imo

for about $100 more, you can get a DC Sports ceramic coated 4-2-1. I like the way my car sounds now. I have gains throughout the powerband on the butt dyno. $100 may seem like a good bit of cash, but you know it works. I think a few guys here have the OBX. I wouldn't think the gains would be as good with a 4-1, since the stock manifold is 4-1. It's smoother, but I dunno. My car pulls better than b4. But I also have all mandrel bends and a high flow cat now.

i just looked on ebay and he is still around...

i bought my header from him and its really nice...i got it for 120 shipped and it was worth it and it was really cheap too...

unfortunately...he probabaly realized his header was getting a good reputation for our cars so he stopped selling them on ebay and now they are $255 on his website www.ssautochrome.com

i looked at all his auctions and didnt see one of them selling on ebay anymore. i would go with a DC one, they are a good proven company.

yea thats what i seen online as far as low gains wit headers ,but to me i need to upgrade my Exhaust system seeing i have a zex dry shot kit (not yet Installed ) and they recommend to have headers and decent Exhaust system for better results .......
