I'm going to get an OBX header with some Christmas money and I'm going to get 2.5" custom CB exhaust. How much do you think the piping will cost w/ a hi flo cat?

and on this subject, how easy is it to install a header and cat-back exhaust....would u say ud have to have a backround with this stuff or is it as simple as following directions...?

i have tha nology wires with a stock coil. i luv my wires i deff noticed a diff in throttle response n a lil in power. i was going to buy tha ractive ones off ebay some times you can bid on them and get them for reel cheap.

where the fu(k did that come from? well anyways, i got the obx header too(tsudo actually but its the same thing). my cat back cost $325 for the piping, muffler, and labor. if you already got the muffler, and/or your installingit yourself it will be alot cheaper. i just got the ERT high flo cat. its a direct fit, 2.5 inches, with all the right flanges and mounts. dont get a ebay "hi flow cat" if you need to pass emissions, they are just resonators, not actual cats.

and for the thread hijacker :p i didnt install my exauste(only thing on my car i didnt), but the header would have been quite easy had my cat bolts not welded themselves to the flanges. the heads broke off, and i had to drill new holes through the old bolts since the bolts and flanges were one piece. it took about 4 hours cuz of that, but otherwise its simple

Headers can be easy or a nightmare. MAKE SURE you have a craftsman or snap-on 6 sided 10mm socket when taking your stock manifold off. If you strip one, have fun. It might be a good idea to get a MAPP gas torch and some PB blaster too.

For just the catback piping it was about $100. I already had a muffler.

The header was pretty easy, PB blaster is a must.

whoooa here comes a noob question.... what the hell is PB blaster? cuz i didnt use any.

PB blaster is the greatest. Like he said, it is what WD40 wants to be when it grows up.

I believe that WD40 is water based so it evaporates quickly, PB Blaster is oil based so it doesnt evaporate as fast.
