ok first off sorry for my "ignorance" for it was brought to me today that i infact do not know everything
Anyways Long story short I recently blew a head gasket.. I decided that while I have th head off I might as well replace the head (i love the way i think
) So i called up Buschur Racing. and orderd there stage 3 head as well as the hks 272's intake and Exhaust. but this is where my knowledge stops.. I was wondering with the new head it says i must reuse my stock lifters, rockers and cam shafts.. I have new cams but was wondering about the "trust" factor for lack of a better word about using the old lifters and rockers.. Also it says on the site "Welcome to the Buschur Racing Stage 3 cylinder head. This is our finest cylinder head offering based on a decade of research, development and refinement. Featuring stainless steel valves, bronze valve guides, high performance springs and titanium retainers. Cylinder head deck features o-ringed chambers for superior head gasket sealing at elevated boost levels. Ports completely ported and polished to optimize flow with aggressive camshafts. This head will support over 700 whp ... we haven't found its limits yet. DOES NOT include lifters, rockers or camshafts." I will not need new valve springs im guessing... What would be safe to redline it at... my bottom end is the Buschur stage 1. Thanks for the replies and if this doesnt make sense I'm sorry its late.
Thanks,
Rusty
