I was wondering if I should upgrade cams while I'm doing a valve job? I see alot of people just putting hks 272's in. I'm running 14 psi, FMIC, Tuning equipment, etc. I was pretty much wondering if upgrading cams will help increase my HP?

of course it will but you will sacrafice bottom end hp to gain top end. you will be just shifting your powerband to the mid and top end. if you drive it on the street a lot you would benefit from the 264/272 setup over the 272s

Alright I get what your saying but 264 as intake or no.

the 264 would be the intake. Changing your cams would take a little from your bottom end, though. What kind of turbo are you running?

it would definitely be easier to change while you have the head out, though, if you are going to change them.
