head rebuild gaskets question.

so i am putting a head on a friend of mine's 420a. she bought a rebuilt head it came with everything except some gaskets. my question is......? is there a gasket on the drivers side of the cams. like for the cps, and on the intake cam?

Yes. It's a rubberized, half moon shaped thing called the "semi-circular packing." You can kind of see it in this picture on the end of the cam. It rests in the bottom half of the head, so the VC lies flat across the top of it. It will probably run you about $7 at Satan, but if you need it now...

the bearing cap is on that end of the exh cam. then follows the camsensor.
