Ok i am going to be rebuilding my head soon and I have come up with what i think is all i need. The only things i am going to replace is the seals and the lifters because the issues i have is air blowing past the seals and the ever so common lifter tick.Please take a second to see if i am missing anything or to make any suggestions. Thanks

New parts for reinstalling the head

Turbo bolts
Turbo to mani gasket
Exaust mani gasket
Intake mani gasket
Stock head gasket (running only a 16g)
Oil cap gasket
Injector o rings
Head bolts and washers
Thermostat housing gasket
Valvecover gasket, sparkplug gaskets, halfmoon

New parts for the head

a set of valve steam seals
a set of valve seats
3g lifters
Oh and i will also be getting a valve job done
 
timing belt and water pump...if you have the tore down that far then might as well put these parts on to.why the head rebuild also check into a kit.
 
Well i am still pretty new to dsm's so i am just going to replace what i "need" to get my car running right. My plan is too run a 12 sec 1/4 mile with a 16g in the next year and a half. So i am setting up my car for that and only that. After i have done that i will decide weather i want to get more serious and if i do then i will probubly tear down the whole block and upgrade everything.

I will be upgrading the exaust mani and the injectors while the head is off so i dont have to buy gaskets and o rings again.

I just dont want to put everything on hold when eiather the heads gets done or i reinstall it because i forgot to buy a gasket or a seal or something.

oh and the timing belt was done 20 k ago so that should be fine

The reason i am rebuilding it is because i got bad seals in it and my injectors max out at 10 psi because of the leaky seals.
 
So does anyone see anything i am missing or does it look pretty good?
