So I am thinking about building a spare head I have the change to get on the cheap. I was wondering about getting it o-ringed. What kind of o-rings would I use in it? I assume since I am running e85 I need vitron. I really dont know much about o-ringing other than diesel guys do it so they can run huge boost. I am currently running an hx-35 in bep bolt on housing at 25 psi. But my stock head is killing me up top. So while i have it apart I thought I would do all the work I can to the new head.

O-ringing it is expensive, and a lot of shops won't do it (at least around here). There are plenty of people making crazy numbers without O-ringing the head.

I'd check around here a bit more for some performance numbers on non-o-ringed setups, before throwing a bunch of money at that particular machining.

FWIW - I thought about doing it on my current stroker build, but decided against it after some research and the fact that it was tough to find anyone local to do it. In the end I decided it was money better spent elsewhere. YMMV

For more flow up top, look at some over-size valves and good cams, and beef up the springs, etc. if you plan on winding it out.
