Im replacing my headgasket this weekend. The one on there is pretty fried, do you think im gonna need to get my head machined, if so how much will it cost and what are the consequences if i just put on a new gasket?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "machined" but I'm sure nobody can answer your question without inspecting your head so ask your machinist what do you need to have done to it and go from there.

depends on it its warped or not. a machinest would check the desk for flatness and go from there. but to totaly re-do a head is around 200-300. ( hot tanked, flycut, redo the valves)
