I think the head gasket is bad... What head gasket should i go with, what gaskets do i need to change, what head bolts are the best to use, should i go with a new timing belt and what should i use, can i do this with the engine still in the car

I think my balance shafts are bad can i do the eliminator kit while the engine is in the car

What is it doing for you to think it needs all this work.

I would suggest doing all the maintanace on it first, then start to look at cams and such. If all your after is a dependable head gasket I would go OEM. Pick up a set of ARP head studs to bolt down the head but make sure you get your head checked at a machine shop . While the head is out you have easy access to your water pump so go ahead and do it. As for the BSE I have heard that it can be done while the motor is in but a real pain. timing belt... yes .. yes ... and yes.
