420A Head Fitment

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm looking to buy a rebuilt head for my 96 eclipse RS 420. The listing is for a Chrysler/Mitsubishi 2.0 L4L 1995-1999 ECF 420A and it's saying that it won't fit my car but it looks identical and I didn't think there were different models of the 2.0. The numbers on the side all line up except where it says 2F on the one I'm looking to buy, mine says 5F. Does that matter or am I good to go?

From that one picture, it's going to fit. The only other variation of a 420A head was the Neon head, which actually isn't a 420A. That head in your photo is clocked properly for the 2GNT DSM.

Why not just get a used head and put a little work into it? I know the 420A heads aren't just laying around everywhere. I've spent months trying to find a good one in the past, but I was being picky. Regardless you can get a used head for a couple hundred bucks or a junkyard head for less than a hundred. Throw in some valve seals, hot tank and machine shop resurfacing and you're still at half the price of any remanufatured head that is literally the same product. Nothing you can get is going to be new. Just cleaned and machined with fresh seals. If possible, DIY and save some cash.

I can even float my way over to my junkyard and grab a head if you make it worth my time (which isn't worth much these days). It will need the work I stated above but that isn't nearly as expensive as the questionable reman stuff. I've even be tempted to rebuild or "remanufacture" a head myself and send it to you, but we're talking a couple weeks turnaround at best.
