Just recently replaced my valves with all new stainless valves from enginebuilder, lapped them in and installed the springs. Everything was sealed nicely, until I reinstalled the stock cams, lifters and rockers. Now some of my valves have a visible gap while others do not, what did I do wrong?

No not like a pair at a time that would have been too easy. For example cylinder 1, 1 intake valve fully sealed, the other I could easily slide an index card between it and the head
