Have yall ever heard of Steel seal. we are thinking of using this and if it doesnt work we get are money back, but i was wondering if any of yall had expirince with this stuff thanks if you have.

Lots of stuff on a web search about it, sounds like the average load of shit you get with any stopleak product.
If you have a leaking gasket or seal, the only fix is to replace it. Don't make your work harder when it overheats and fails.

End of story.

I have got to agree with the post above, just take the time and do yourself a favor and fix it right.

I have used it on other peoples vehicles several times. None of these were turbo'd . There is a process of draining & cooling that cures the sealant. It did work on the cars I treated. I never heard any negative feedback. It is a band-aid type fluid that will work on most applications. I would not even think to fix anything with any cyl. pressure with witch oils. Tres...

thanks guys for the input. im looking for a quick and easy fix for the time being once a get my sata paint gun sold i should have the money to buy a newer 2.0 dohc for my eclipse but for now i need my car to get to work and school. it sucks not having a vehicle going to college in a different state. i have a non turbo so im going to try this and see if it works for now untill someone buys my paint gun so i can buy a new motor.:hellyeah: thanks for all your help tho yall.

Ok, so if you try it , do some prelimanary stuff and you probably will have luck. If there is lots of crap in the overflow tank for the radiator you shoul do a flush of the system with a cleaner prior to going to the sealant process. Make sure to run the heater on hot to expose the whole system. Being non turbo is a plus in this instance. :) Tres....

A quick fix that is not quick! Do it right the first time! There are no short cut, just more headaches later on down the road.
