I am replacing the engine altogether since it seized on me due to the problem, so I am putting in a 1g 6Bolt GST engine in the car and that is where I need your help.

Should I put in just the block and build around it or do a full engine swap and go full 1g 6Bolt.

What am I looking at for 1g engine prices around 70k miles If I can get one and how much modification needs to be done to install the engine.

Also if I can't find a 6bolt GST can I use my 97 GST Turbo?

depends on how much you want to spend. A good head will go for 100-200, plus you need a 1g intake manifold, and the right year 1g TB. Im in the middle of a 6bolt swap and I'd rather put my money in other places unless I find a really good deal on a head. PLus I know my head is in good condition, so I dont run the risk of getting a shitty head that will need tons of work.

it also depends what you are looking for. A race ready engine capable of throwing whatever you got at it, or just something to get on the road again. You can still use your t25, but why build an engine and stick that wanna be hairdryer back on?
