Has anyone rebuilt a GReddy Type S knockoff?

I have a Chinese knockoff Type S, and the diaphragm is shot (big surprise, eh?).

So has anyone used a genuine GReddy Type S diaphragm in a knockoff body? I'd rather spend the $80 on a diaphragm, instead of $200+ on a new bov, if it will work.

Thanks!

I have, and those are all used. And perhaps have torn diaphragms, too. Which is why I asked the question about a rebuild.

I want to know if anyone has rebuilt a knockoff S using a real S diaphragm. I don't want to buy a used, potentially broken, genuine Type S, only to have to turn around and buy a diaphragm that may have repaired my knockoff in the first place. Buying used parts off Ebay is that last thing I want to do. If I have to break down and buy a complete BOV, I'll just buy a new RS.

I don't want to hear that I should buy a new/used bov. I would like a response to my original question.
