I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed adjustable coilover springs on stock 1g struts/ shocks. I have a dropzone coilover spring kit. Will i need to buy after market struts/shocks. If so what are some brands that work well with coilovers and perform awesome ie:adjustable dampening.

thanks

Well if you want awsome performance I wouldn't recomend drop zone coil overs or any "coil over" that is a sleeve that slides over any strut. I would recomend some adjustable struts with a good spring that gives you the amount of lowering that you want. Remember, every time you adjust ride height the alignment needs to be corrected. So how often are you really going to change ride hieght with the coil overs? If you want the best performance get some real coil overs like Tien. Just don't use the factory struts, it will ride like complete ass. The struts control the ride not the springs, the springs pretty much control the ride height. If you want the lowered look, do springs only. If you want performance, do struts only. If you want it lowered with performance you must do both. I would recomend going with some Eibach or H&R springs with some Tokico or Koni struts.
