Has anyone ever did the following to there eclipse/talon:
Carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber hatch, carbon fiber turbo spoiler, painted the hood and a-pillars the color of carbon fiber? Basically so the car is 2 colors, top carbon fiber, bottom another color. If you have or you have seen someone do this can you please post a pic? I am curious to see what this looks like.

Carbon fiber's a lightening product. That it's ugly is only a circumstance. Using non-CF for its looks is..... well, it's not good.

But it's your car. Do what you like, and then we'll have pictures.

If you were to do it, at least do our roof skin and a-pillar skin with real carbon fiber to save like 10 pounds. Oh and the color of carbon fiber is impossible, its a weave, you cant "paint" a weave color. Maybe with some fancy art brushing.

Quite true, unless redeclipse7782 wants to pay 75+ thousand dollars in a custom paint job. You could try vinyl wrapping, similar to what was seen on Horsepower TV:

These guys can basically do any vinyl wrap your little heart desires:

I thought this was interesting. Unfortunately, they don't sell anything for DSMs:

Here are some pre-cut CF sheets for your own customization needs:

EDIT: Another place where you can get CF stickers:

Thanks for the help, but I may have not been too clear on what I want to do. REAL carbon fiber hood, REAL carbon fiber hatch, and REAL carbon fiber high rise spoiler. Then I want to paint the top of the car (outside) as close to the color of carbon fiber as possible, just so it all sort of blends together. I know you can't paint the weave and even if you were able to it still wouldn't look right.
Then I want to paint the doors, fenders, bumpers, and quarter panels another color (blue preferably).

There are two BMW M3's that do that here in my town. One's black top'ed and baby blue bottom, and the other has a red bottom.... but where all of their C/F is painted, and magically they work at a body shop... and they look quite stunning as their rim's are even color matched to the cars.

I've got a cf hood and hatch and my roof is black. Is that kind of what you're looking to do? or are you looking for a dark graphite type color?

Are you also considering CF door panels as well? If so, see the link below:

I'll clean up the car some tomorrow and take some new pics

The car looks good man, the only thing I suggest would be to get smoked side markers. I believe you can only get them on ebay. I have them on my car, excellent quality, but they are a little pricey $40. shipped. I think they would really bring your car together and get rid of the orange.

oh you have the euro tails, i would get the smoked side markers, and the stock rear lights and smoke the rear lights, i think it would really bring the car together more and go with your theme, the orange looks out of place, but its your car so to each their own :)

haha wow harsh... I happen to love cf and I love the look of it as well as it's light weight purpose.... I have many cf parts including cf hatch, hood, mirrors, fenders fuel door, and im about to get cf doors. I found a company that would do the top of my car if I'm interested and yes it has crossed my mind to just do the whole car...

2... how much will the whole car cost???

BTW... you are diehard about carbon fiber. WTF

I LOVE CF. But the weight savings just isn't worth the money IMHO...
