Has anybody had their timing marks aligned but still had their timing off?

Do you mean when you are checking it with a light?
If so how many degrees off is it?

No nothing to do with a light. I readjusted my timing marks (cam sprockets, crankshaft, and oil pump sprocket) and now I'm too advanced.

Does your motor have an adjustable crank sensor?

Also stock cams?

Are all the timing marks still lined up correctly once you release the tensioner?
I've seen someone line up the marks and they moved as soon as he let the tensioner go.

Everything lines up perfectly. I even checked after driving it. Seems like my timing is advanced. Before I initially adjusted the belts the cam markers wouldn't line up. They were off a tooth. For some reason I think one of the sprockets is not installed correctly.

haha... I took everything apart again... I was literally staring at the timing marks for half an hour until I realized the straight edge rule. I was off 2 teeth!!! This fixed everything. It idles and runs like new. Just glad I didn't bend any valves.

What is the straight edge rule? Is that where you use a straight edge to make sure they are lined up?

It's lining up the inner markers with the outer markers on the cam sprockets using a straight edge.
