Has any one used a stage 3 transmission from teamrip?

I was wondering if anyone knows or has a transmission from team rip?i was looking at getting a stage 3 and just wanted to know if they are any good. thanks

I have a stage 2 in with a few upgrades in my car. (HD shift rails with forged shift forks, double synchroed first and second, 10% taller fifth). The transmission has lasted 50,000 miles at 300 AWHP/ 300 lb-ft of torque. And about 6000 miles at 442 AWHP / 425 lb-ft of torque. The trans looked real good inside still when it came apart a few months ago to put in quaife differentials. I hope it works for quite a bit longer.

I have the Stage 2 also, 4 spider center and ripgrip front lsd.

Car straight HOOKS and the trans is nice and tight

I have a TRE brand new DSM/ Evo-III stage 3 trans. Which consist of a factory new 95 trans with Evo-III 1-3, billet Evo-III 4th, factory 5th, 4 spider, and a rip-grip. I plan to turn the wick up a little and I will definitely be testing the limits of the trans.

not to burst your bubble or anything, but you'll do nothing but spin the tires on a fwd before you would need a heavily built transmission like these guys have.

Yes, this is a pretty common swap. The trans works fine fwd with the welded diff, and no t-case.

i also had a stage 2 tre trans in my last 98 gsx. 4spider diff., evo 3-4 gear set, and double syncro 1-4. i loved that trans! wish it was in my current 2g... i must say, it did help the sale of the car tho.

I currently am using the top of the line TRE transmission. I actually have two. My fwd took me to the 1000hp mark with no trouble ever. It is worth every penny. You can get the awd tranny that will bolt to your front wheel app. You will however, spin the sh*t out of the tires.

Jon from TRE will give more than enough information. I would not use anyone other than TRE.
