2G Harness trimming

My car doesn't require emmisions, so I've taken out all of the egr crap. Figured I won't need so much wiring in the harness. Along with that, I decided to cut the connector that runs to the factory amp... some say bad idea, some say it doesn't matter. Curious if anyone else has input or opinions. Thanks!

I've done it but the more you mess with makes it likely that you will have contact issues. I'm pretty close to running new wires in a few places or go back to the factory harness

Thanks for your feedback. I will be routing new lines as well. No big deal.
