Hard to get into gear, even after the engine is fully warmed up...

well last night after work it was extremely cold out..(about 35 degrees) i went out, started my car, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then put it in reverse, backed out, was going down the road and it was hard to get into each gear, it was just really stiff, it doesnt do this when it is warm out or anything, but even after 15 minutes of going down the highway, it was hard to downshift from 5th to 4th, and then to 3rd , then to 2nd, is there anything to do to help this? or is this how these cars are in the winter?

well i spose... i guess if i run some syncro-mesh in there, it should eliminate this problem.

just remember at that temp it will take a while for any engine heat to get to the tranny, let alone warm it up. It will also be a while before driving warms it up considerably as well.
I have never had much trouble with mine. I run amsoil, when I lived in Colorado it never was hard to shift in the winter. In fact my tranniy has been one of the strongest parts on my car. I would also check your clutch and brake fluid levles and bleed them if it hasn't been done in a while. Brake fluid can absorb moisture and can effect the clutch and brakes.
