hard starting

ok lemme just tell you guys the story real quick. so i noticed for about a week that my car was having problems starting. the check engine light never came on. it would crank but wouldnt start. sometimes it would start. as i was moving the car one day, it just shuts off on me. i try to start it and nothing. i still dont have a check engine light coming on. my brother thinks it might be the CAS, but i remember reading somewhere that if it was, the check engine light would come on...any ideas?? help me out guys pleeeaaseeee... thanks

Try to push start it if it runs then eleminate these Fuel pump ,Fuel filter ,injectors,distrbuter and focus on your connections and starter .

Check for fuel, spark and compression, three things you'll need to start the car. Does the CEL come on for 5 seconds when you turn the key to "on" position? If not, pull your ECU and check for capacitor leaks.
