I have been having problems starting the car only after it sits for a few hours. When it does finally start it idles very rough around 500 rpms. I usually have to rev it up a few times to get it to idle normal. After it starts and warms up it will start up with no problem until it sits for a while.

A few months ago i ported out the bottom part of my 1g MAF to help with overrun. I had no starting or idle issues running the MAF like this all summer but I thought that maybe because it is getting colder outside that this might be the problem. I put in the lower honeycomb and pushed the screw in all the way and this didn't help at all.

It almost seems like there is no fuel in the rail but i checked for leaks and couldn't find any. I have tried + and - 30 on the SAFC but still no luck. Could it have anything to do with a bad o2 sensor. I noticed that my AFR gauge doesn't cycle back and forth like it used to. At idle it sits in the rich side until I lean out the SAFC to about -35% but then it idles rough and pops.

My mods are in my profile

Please help
Thanks
Derrick

Yes i do turbo time. I figured out the problem today. It ended up being my POS weapon R afpr leaking. And of course it was leaking in the worse possible spot, the vacuum nipple so i was sucking fuel through my boost gauge and in my intake manifold. I put in the stock fpr and it fixed the problem.
do you turbo time? i noticed when i would drive my car hard and shut it off quickly, then the next time i would try to drive it would do that.

then if i turbo timed it wouldnt.

maybe that was dumb luck but maybe thats the problem? who knows :)
