hey guys, I just got my POS back on the road the other day, it's a 95 tsi awd with 107K on the clock. I've had it for almost 30K never beat on the clutch till now. I don't know when the clutch was replaced or even if it was. Here's my issue:
did a stutter box launch at 4500 rpm
felt like the front tires were wheel hopping
after the launch my clutch pedal felt a lot different...now the clutch engages further to the top, and has a tad bit more pressure at the top (where the engagement point now is) and a bit less pressure after that point (as i continue to push in the clutch)
previous to this it seemed to be pretty even pressure all the way to the floor...my clutch engagement point was like an inch or two off the floor..I had tried to adjust the engagement point but It never made much of a difference.
any ideas on what i did?? car is still 100% driveable and holds power (atleast in second gear, i did not have enough road to get into third.)
TIA!
