Hard downshift

I had my transmission rebuild a while ago. But over the last week my solenoid connector came lose so I had no 1st 4th or OD. I reconnected the connector and now my car down shifts hard to the point it makes a clucking noise and jerks forward. What can be wrong?

do you rev match? and if its making a clunking noise, something could either be loose in your differential, suspension, or transmission

Are you using the shift box, or ful line pressure mod? Was this clunking goin into first gear?

Everything is stock. Problem was found the bolts on the cross member were lose giving the transmission room to move

Ouch! Tighten that sh*t up before it causes any significant damage

And remember the Fuzzy Logic of the transmission, it learns how to shift... bla bla bla... but if you have run without the speed or load sensor, maybe the ECU learned wrong parameters... I thing reseting the ECU could help...
