I just recently got my tranny rebuilt with a new lsd and all the goodies.I installed the tranny and went for a drive.Everything is good but when I leave again I see a small puddle of tranny fluid:notgood: .So I jack up the car and both half shaft seals are leaking:mad: .I called the shop that rebuilt the tranny and he said there new.He also said sometimes the seals need some time to settle in.He said drive it 150 miles or so and they should stop.Has anyone heard of this or is he blowin smoke up my ass.

He is full of crap. If they are new then they wouldnt be leaking. They are really easy to replace, but it sounds to me that he is trying to get over on you. I had the same problem recently, pass side was leaking. I drained it, installed a new seal, filled it back up and viola, no leaking. You should call his bluff and make hime fix it.

Yeah I figured he was probably full of crap.Although it does seem like it has slowed down compared to what it was before.I just bought some new seals and will be installing them soon.I would have him fix it but it would take probably a couple weeks.Oh well thanks for the replies.
