AHHHH..... half shaft....

so i replaced the half shaft and my car is stll making a poping noice... well not reall popping mor like a smaking,,,,, weird...... id only does it when i back up and when i let off the gas.... when theres a load on the motor it never does it... any help????

Welcome to my world man. I just changed mine yesterday and its still making a weird popping when I take off in 1st. I don't get it. I'm at my wits end with this car.

well i have noticed after driving in reverse for about 200 ft. that it makes the sound really bad when im drivig in reverse... some body help me out here

Maybe something as simple as a worn set of motor mounts?

actually the motor mount on the top is gone... and sometimes it seems like the sound of a motor mount but..... bnot all the time unless becuse of the worn out mount it puts strain on the cv joint maybe????

how hard are they to change

Suspect a ball joint in the control arm or lateral arm. Thats what mine turned out to be.
