Ok so this inline thing is way too loud. What can I do about it? Swap it for an intank walbro 255?

you can but the walbro 255 is pretty loud itself. ive never heard the inline tho so i cant compare

I see, is there any quieter solution?

I'll try and get a sound clip of the inline fuel pump, its really loud. Especially when the tank is almost empty. Its also louder when the key is in ACCL and the car isn't started.

Yeah I'd go with the walbro 255, or you could just throw some 12's in the back (forget weight, you got turbo now) and crank that baby up, and tell the fuel pump who's boss now.

just have to get use to it..i still run both walbro and hrc inline, they do get pretty loud but atleast u know they are working.

If you want to quite it down.. either install some larger injectors or put dynomat on the inside floor of the car. Do not surround the pump with dynomat.

A walbro is loud also, not as loud, but you can hear it.

How large (injectors)? I tried dynamat but its not doing too much :(

Any size larger injectors. Youll just have to retune.

The reason you hear the noise is because of all the pressure thats built up waiting to be released by the fuel system.

Listen next time you floor your car, you wont hear your fuel pump.

Alright thanks siu, I think I'll just go grab a set off a turbo dsm.

Also siu if you are reading this, I listened to your Greddy Type-S bov clip and it sounds nice, mine doesn't sound anything like it... :| How much were you boosting when you took that sound clip?
