Would a stock fuel pump from a turbo 1g or 2g be able to flow enough to support a turbo on our 420a? Would you have to do a rewire on it to flow enough? Ive built a custom kit with a 14b as the turbo and I want to run around 7 psi. Any help would be appreciated.

Just spend the 95 bucks on a walbro 255, from striaghtline specialties, and you won't ever have to worry about fuel supply again.

If you notice, even the 1g and 2g guys, one of the first things they change is their furl pump, so don't down grade on that too far, and take that risk.

i know a couple of people have done this successfully, but i know i tried it out and i didn't work, fp wouldn't go past about 70psi, so if your using stock injectors i would just spend the hundred bucks on a brand new walbro and you'll never have to worry about it not flowing enough. But who knows maybe the pump i got was just a piece, if you can pick one up for cheap or someones giving it to you try it otherwise, i'd spend the extra money for the peace of mind b/c you can kill your engine the first time it sees boost if your not getting enough fuel pressure. I was lucky that this didn't happen to me

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like I will be going back up to summit racing this week to pick up another walbro 255. The reason I asked this was because I replaced the stock pump on my 91 tsi awd with a walbro 255 and had the stock pump sitting around. I guess it would be better to have the peace of mind knowing that the pump will work. I need to keep my 2gnt as a somewhat reliable car.. since its my daily driver. Thanks again for the help :thumb:
