Hahn Racecraft I/C

I've got a new turbo set-up coming and was looking at picking up an I/C from Hahn. It got a good write-up in December's issue of Modified, and I like the simplicity of the I/C piping.

Does anyone have personal experience with this piece?

Yep, I have one hooked up to a FP 2828. It's a very well-made piece. Everything bolted up easily and very solidly. Just be prepared to trim the bumper a lot, it's very big. If given a choice between this and the big Greddy for the same price, I would get this every time. It got rid of all the heat-soaked induced knock I was getting with my stock sidemount, and I was able to lower my ETs a couple tenths and increase my MPH by 1 or 2 MPH.

If short-route piping is not in your future, this is the best choice for a 2G FMIC, IMHO.

How much is a a lot of trimming? How much shorter is the piping if you short route it? How many feet shorter are we talking?

I'm also taking advice if you think another FMIC will perform better or be a better "bang for the buck". A Starion is out of the question. I want to do this right.

Just got my Hahn FMIC kit in the mail. Looks SWEET, can't wait to install it.
