bare with me on this guys, much appreciated. well today I want to finally tune my gst so I bought a " flashable" ecu from a tuner on here. Just want to verify and get as much info before I put the car on the dyno today or even make the tuner waste his time if it won't work. first thing I noticed is everyone with flash(at least the few I've seen) have the h8 ecus. what's the difference between the h8 and h2? will something have to be done differently to make it work? the ecu I have is a black box marked md346676 h2* and the chip on the inside is MH7202F. is this correct and all good for flashing? also, my tuner isn't familiar with ceddy mods but tunes plenty of evos using evoscan/ecuflash, will this be a problem/ is ceddy mods necessary? a quick solid response would be delightful as I could no what moves to make. thanks in advance

bro, there is maybe four question marks in that little paragraph.

Hard to ask a question when your sentence ends with a period. What's the question?

pretty much want to know based off my ecu specs is it good for flashing? since It's not a h8, do I have to do something in particular to make it work?

no one knows the answers to my questions? LOL perfect day for you guys to not be responsive

Not sure what the "h2" on the out side of the ECU case stands for but from all the information I have read it doesn't reference the processor type, you have a good flashable ECU. As far as Ceddy mods goes it isn't necessary but defiantly fun to have. Ask your tuner if he has done any tuning with Tephramods, it's the same thing. In fact Ceddy got the idea for his mod from Tephra.

thanks bro! couldn't sleep all night, been so anxious (first tune). just wondering when you tuned ## ecu, did you run into any errors or anything? just want to have a good idea of what to expect with flashing...even though I have a tuner want to contribute as much as possible in the worst case scenario. thanks

My tune is a bit different than what your doing. I am running an EVO8 ECU with a reversed CAS so needless to say, Yea a had a few CEL's and some issues I had to figure out...
