I recently broke my front passenger side strut and during the removal, finally got a chance to take a closer look at the lowering springs that came on my car. It turns out that they're H&R Sport Springs.
Being the curious type of person I am, I do a quick search on the part # that's stamped onto the springs (which in this case is P/N 52962), only to find out that this P/N is for a FWD DSM. Upon closer searching, I notice that the P/N for the AWD is 52963.
My question is... what is the difference between these 2 sets, and is it possible that when ordering an AWD setup that they just use the springs from a FWD set and give you different rear springs? If this isn't true and I do indeed have a FWD set of springs on my car, what are the ramifications of driving the car this way?
