I'm having a hell of a time finding the information I'm looking for since the search function is so limited.

I'm for sure buying Tokico Illumina Shocks I just need a spring.
My car is a daily driver that I want to be lowered (more than 1" and less than 1.5").
I want good spring rates that will be comfortable and able to tackle some pretty tight curves.

My questions are:
1. What spring rates are desireable for my application?
2. What are the spring rates of the H&R OE Springs?
3. What will the drop be on my AWD since the H&R OE Springs are for FWD only?
4. What are the spring rates of the Eibach Prokits, and are they too light?

Thank you.
Hopefully this thread will be the last thread I need for this topic.

Finally got some answers.
1. Apparently Koni Sports are perfectly matched with the spring rates of the H&R OE Sports.
2. The spring rates of those springs are 430/260 (f/r) ALLEGEDLY!! Not confirmed, I know these are the rates for the RACE springs though... but not confirmed on the OE's.
3. Still no idea on the drop I'd get but I'm gonna guess it will be anywhere between 1-1.2 inches all the way around.
4. .. well f*ck eibach and f*ck tokico ;)

I found a great deal on some Koni Sports for $456 shipped (like 30 bucks in tax and 40 in shipping WTF). Still a good deal though.
I've ordered 'em up and I'll let you guys know how that goes.

I've also found H&R OE Sport springs for $173 shipped.
So there is my mostly complete (as complete as I need) suspension setup for ~$630.
Not bad!!

I was going to get the Tokico and Eibach combo. $630 is not bad since you can get the Tokico Illumina and Eibach Pro for $595 shipped on ebay. :thumb: Where did you get your Koni Sports and H&R OE Sport Springs from?

And I thought H&R only make springs for FWD cars.

Well the thing is, jtoby, claims that the FWD OE Sports will fit an AWD just fine and perfectly mate the Koni yellows...so I'm taking his word for it.
The H&R springs will be from Speedcustoms.

Also there may be some slight discrepancy one the Koni's. The price is too good to be true, but it does say in plain print, "Low Price Guarantee! $194/PAIR" and that goes the same for the front and rear PAIRS. And nobody one earth claiming a "low price guarantee!" would sell a set for $776 so I'm thinking they have stock that just hasn't moved in a veyr long time and they want to move it and get their money out of it.

So unless I can't read I should be recieving a deal too good to be true, if not well.. if advertised they have to comply with the order right?
We'll see. I'm crossing my fingers and I'll keep you guys updated.
