Pretty simple request to you guys that have made or are making 400+awhp or trapping 118mph in the 1/4 mile...can I see your ECMLink logs?

Trying to figure out this whole timing thing and see what works for others. I'm not here to copy anyone's tune, I'm not gonna copy/paste anything, I'm just really curious to see real world results in the DSM world and their timing/afr/VE tables. Youtube videos that are 45 minutes long and that delve into the complex theory of quantum mechanics and how it relates to cars on Earth just don't do it for me. I can immediately learn by comparing though. I think it's a neat idea.

If you could, could you just list a brief mod list too? Specifically Turbo size, engine displacement, and compression. Example if it was me.

FP Green turbo, 2.0L, 7.8:1 compression ratio. Made XXX awhp and log posted below.

Thanks in advanced!

With a touch more boost and 11.5-12 AFR targets on E85, it will go 400+

I think you have more CAM than I do, and I'm running EVO8 + timing

About 1* more from 5000-7000 than that log yeah. About the same AFR, but I have less compression than you do. 150psi/7.8:1.

This stuff is so interesting to me. I hope more people post their stuff up.

I suspect your inquiring about the 3rd gear ⚙️ dyno pull ?

Your comparing timing ⏱️ with
Other values to build intuition?

I tuned my own car makes more than 500

But all I did was do pulls each with a lill more boost to keep the AFR low in the power band

And once I hit about 25-28psi I stopped .

Then focused on doing runs were I simply adjusted timing ⏱️ 2* at a time.

I stopped caring about many of the parameters on link many of the guides tell you to focus on.

I just look a bare the bare minimum (wide band- boost-timing)

And sometimes I don’t even worry about what the logs say for airflow or fuel trims
For cruise/idle
And do it by sound -feel of the car.

I know I’m probably gonna get some raised eyebrows 🤨 for this one,
But I also do this with many of my robust and stable prototypes.

Not really specifically to a 3rd gear dyno pull. Just more in general. Comparing timing tables and VE/AFRs, etc.
