So, I'm sitting at a traffic light about 8pm when this guy in a silver cloud car with a primer grey hood and a crappy exhaust system pulls up next to me...

Other dude : " awww.....look at you in your old bubble car!"

Me: " man now I'm dissapointed, when I saw you rolling up I thought you were a chick"

Other dude: " man I got a v6, your 4 banger cant "hang wit dis"

me: " oh that's right, they didn't even give you an option for a factory turbo car, must kind of feel like you have been forced to sit at the kids table during christmas"

other dude: " you wanna go?!?!"

me: " nah, not really,you may like to pick your car up at the impound but not me. but I do bet you 10 bucks that I will already be cruising the speed limit before you even make it through the intersection...."


And I did.....

Goddamn I love this car. I'm like getting all emotional and shit.....

It wasn't really supposed to be a brag, hell it's a stock GS-T That I haven't done anything with but repair what the prior owner neglected and screwed up.
I guess more than anything I was just kind of venting because this shit happens constantly around here. This never happened when I was in my old N/T cars, and hell one of them was bright orange with rims and a catback and so on. My other GS-T I didnt get to enjoy long enough to get any of this. I get the feeling the local Honda boys, and the people I dubbed the " random bolt on clan" watch for DSMs for some reason. Like when they see me they get some sort of vengance complex going on and feel the need to act like a dipshit. My buddy says he thinks its the wing on my car that waves like a red flag saying " hey, it's not a dodge neon in disguise". I dunno. But it's getting to the point where when I hear a honda or some other car rev at me and I hear that weedeater on jet fuel with a nasty backfire sound, I'm gonna start slapping people.......

Oh and as for "cloud cars" a buddy of mine who use to work ay hayes chrysler plymouth told me they use to call the old stratuses and cirrus, ect " cloud cars".....just a term of habit sorry.

I know exactly what your talking about. I'm in northern NY and like everyone has trucks. But I'm also near 4 college campuses so once in a while some yahoo pulls up next to me and blah, blah, blah, vroom, VROOOM. Sometimes I will race to the speed limit, rarely, but usually I rev it till the green light drop my gas peddle so revs come back down and watch them waste tires, gas, and even once a guy sped off past a cop in town. That was my favorite.
