I'm too used to using the controller to play GT; I suck at it if I use a wheel.

IMO the arm on the wheel is not as fast as the thumb on the stick...or the button. I am also curious about the new thread. That track is very cool and all, but I like the original tracks much better. Midfield anyone?

Started a new thread on the new TA. Should keep things constant as far as the car, and limit any possibility of cheating.
I don't have much experience with El Capitan, but picked it because of its elevation changes, different corners and nice straight to catch some speed, there are some corners that camber won't help you much, etc. Should be interesting.

Made a new class for a different kind of challenge. It's called the 50k Challenge, and also made a big change to the original class, making it the Street Tire Unlimited. Take a look at the first post.

Also, for those worried about cheating by spending more than 50k, some of us have played this game enough to know.

That's the Challenge. It all comes down to a combo of tuning know how and driving skill to make the most with what you got.

I like the 50k limit more than the other challenges because you have to know your cars, and be able to drive them fast.

Go try an evo II. I was able to do pretty good with one.

EDIT: Also, be sure to put the required information when submitting a time.

I now am now putting down decent times in 1'09's. I need to quicken up my steering and I think I can go faster. I'm going to learn my car better so I can go faster with a better tune.

I was slow in sector 1. Not slow but even with my ghost (1'08 time). There was one practice lap that I was .6 faster then my ghost after sector 1. So their might be about .5 out there still?
