Hahaha, okay, I'll add it. If/when you get a better time with the same car, I'll just update that time. I need full specs though dude.

Hey 123abc just for reference, what is the fastest time you can get on Hong Kong? Any car, any hp tire and weight any aids. My best is 1'07.074 in a Bentley Speed 8 Race Car '03.

Still struggling a little with the proper settings. I don't like this track anymore. Too many hotlaps in the past with supersoft tires! Any chance of a track change soon?

You know what, at first I would have agreed with you, but now I disagree. The street tires really add a nice element to the challange, where as race tires make it almost too easy. I am probably going to start a new challange soon.

I am thinking:
Trial Mountain
500hp limit
street tires
Production cars only (no race/pre-tuned cars)

I think the HP limit along with street tires will make it that much more challanging. It now comes down to who can tune the best/drive the best.

You can still have a car that is hard to control on race tires.

With race tires, you totally remove all elements of cheating (not like anyone would). I would much prefer to have unlimited, do whatever you want with a street car (1000kg minimum weight limit, 2.6L Engine displacement limit). That way there is no way for someone to cheat. Easy? Let's see how easy it becomes when people start posting up lap times, and you are trying to push for that extra .050 seconds.
Time Attack shouldn't be about adding "nice elements" to the challenge, it should be about getting around the track the fastest and winning.


More horsepower doesn't necessarily mean a better lap time.

It's in cc's in the game. Just move the decimal over to the left 3 places, and round up to the nearest 10th.

Ran this time a while ago for a similar challenge like this on a different forum. Everything on my car was tuned specific for this track. Street tires do make for a good challenge because I got 2 other S2000's on race slicks that do 50 flat.

I've been at it for hours with the controller and I just can't consistently get the car where I want it. Think this is a sign to pony up for a wheel =)

Could the next one be based on power:weight ratio? That way we can curtail to a larger set of cars?
