So thre is no way to "tune" performance parts?

you can tune certain items, just when you go to My Home hit the start button and you can remove or add your parts and if there is a wrench next to that part, you just hit that and you can tune it

that's where I go to adjust my shot of Nitrous! 75 shot on the current races, probably will lower it for the longer ones.

go to home, where the pic of the little house is, also where you go to visit your garage to change cars. At the top right theres a little box type thing that says status under it, click on that. then hit start, you will get your licenses, then hit start again, then you get your 100k, remember, this only works if you have info saved from gt3 on the memoery card,. if you still have a problem, pm me with your number and i will call you and walk you through it, haha. good luck man

I have a Subaru STi with dirt tires, and my A and B license, but when I go to "Dirt and Snow Races" it just lets me "practice" or "photo shoot." How do I race in these events?

Go under the special condition races, thats where the rallys are.

I dont have one, but I do have a MMC card reader, I will try that after work.
I tried a flash card reader earlier. Sorry to say, it didn't work. See below.

The problem is that you can't install drivers on a PS2. Therefore, anything but the most simple USB devices (keyboard, flash drive) won't be properly recognized. Flash drives are very cheap. I got my 256MB one for $40, Ive seen 1Gig for $100.

where can i find something to store pictures in so i can load them on my computer?
also i've seen a couple of guys post motion shots, whether its a car going over a jump or sideways around a turn. how do i take motion pictures?

If you save your reaplay, go to replay theater and you can hit select and pull up the full camera menu. You can also do it at Home when watching the replay in the Photo Lab, but I think Replay Theater is better.

And as far as USB flash drives, try Best Buy, Circuit City, or other computer.electronics stores. Or even get one online!

There was a question posted by a newbie. I'll try to answer what was asked.
When you tires turn 'green' it means they are good. Yellow means they are wearing. Orange means they are worn. Red means you need to pit now or lose.
A closed ratio tranny won't allow the rpms to drop as much between gears. Too tight of a tranny and your shift too much. Too large of a gap and you fall out of your power band when hit the next hear. You can also adjust each individual gear ratio and your final gear ratio.
The NOS button is R1.
To change view is Select
Oh about clutches and stuff. I myself always by stage 3 clutch and flywheel. Those along with the adjustable diff are my first mods. The clutch and flywheel allow for much faster shifting.

I've seen people driving verts with the top down. How!?

some verts such as miata automatically have the top down on most tracks... computer decides.

yeah, it's pretty dumb, but we won't hold it against you, press R1 and there you go, also, make note of the red bar next to the speedometer, that's how much nitrous you have left, you can adjust the shot under settings as well

stge 2 clutch and 3 flywheel is for Boosted cars...

stg 3 clutch and stg 3 flywheel is for high hp NA cars...

since u dont have to worry about your clutch breaking or slipping it really doesn't matter TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH but it is faster to shift with stg 2 and stg 3 on turbo cars...

The tops only come down on roadster races; at least that is how it used to be.

I believe you get the M3 race car from doing the BMW races, but I'm not 100% positive.

Just to add my two cents, if anyone is starting out at the beginning, go with a Subaru WRX STi spec C. You will dominate once you have ORG. parts, but you won’t be able to do non-4WD specific races. But still this car is fast as hell, today I got it to run a 7.95 in the quarter. :sneaky: :thumb:

Thank you.

when you win the BMW races though, if anyoen didnt know from above, when you beat the M races you get the m3 gtr roadcar. The 120 races you get a 2002 turbo.

no one really answered my question. right now i am about on a unlimited budget. but my subaru is to slow. its a impreza super touring car, its quick but not fast enough

Hey guys, how do I trade cars in this game? When I hit the trade button, it says "insert a credit card into slot 2 that you would want to trade the cars to" when I do that and press ok, it shows me the inventory of cars from memory card 1 and I have to buy em with the credits from memory card 1, after I buy it , it doesnt show up on memory card 2? wtf!

How do I finish any races on Pan GT Championship in my RUF Yellow Bird with out tires blowing out on last lap?

ROFL
