Ha! Yup, that's my secret. All you need is a bullet nut on your 16g and you will run 9s!

The bigger secret is that I use a bullet nut for every fastener on my car!

;)

I saw on a vendors site that the GT-Ks look to be only available in a single A/R per model#. Is there an option to go larger on any of these for those looking to get the most power out of them?

Bullet nuts.. I knew it!!! So is there a special assembly lube and proper torking sequence to keep bullet nuts fastened at speed? LOL

I sold my first GTK650 yesterday afternoon. My customer's putting it on a Ford 2.3L that he's dropping into an 80's T-bird. His goal is a 700 WHP street car. Hopefully the GTK gets him there.

As far as I know, there is not yet an option to change the A/R on the turbine housings. All of the T3's are .63 and the T4's are .68, .81, and .96.

so where do you order these from? are some venders cheaper than others?
I just sold my Syclone so now I can afford a bigger better turbo for the eclipse.
these look pretty inticing.

So these are oil cooled only ball bearing turbos.

^^^ There are only 14 authorized GTK dealers, worldwide. They are all listed on the front page of Turbonetics' site. I work for Motorstate Distributing, so feel free to call me about them. :thumb:

Yup. They are single BB, dry CHRA's.

All joking aside, would it actually be worthwhile to add a bullet nut to the shaft of any random turbocharger? Would the small gain in efficiency overcome the small increase in weight if I put one on an Evo 16g? Is it even possible to just tighten a standard bullet nut down or are these special fasteners that are balanced with the turbos at the factory?
