Ok guys so i have had some problems with my 1995 eclipse gsx. in my other threads i gave a vauge list of probelms. Now the only thing is the smoking issue.
The car smokes on startup and i couldnt diagnose the problem.

But yesterday i took it out and let it idle for awhile with a shit load of smoke pouring out and yes its burning oil. I decided to 2 step it with dsmlink v2 at 4000rpms and after i did the smoking quit for the whole rest of the time it was idling!

I am now pretty sure its the turbo but was wondering if u guys can tell me if it is or not. thank you.

IT depends alot on when it is smoking the most and what color the smoke is. I would do a leak down test tonight and also look in your lower ic piping to see if there is an excess of oil. Usually if it is your turbo it will pour out smoke upon acceleration mostly. It could bad piston rings, turbo or headgasket. Is there any overheating issues at all?

We're not fortunate enough to have the car directly in front of us like you do, so we were hoping that you could tell us if it's the turbo or not....then we'll know to move on and suggest other things to check.

Also....

are you loosing oil or what?

Nope not at all. oil level is good and clean.

Its defiantly burning oil.

You're either losing oil or you're not. If it's burning oil, you're losing oil...although it may not be happening fast enough for you to see a substantial drop in oil level.
