I am getting ready to rebuild My 92 GST transmisssion... I am in need of some links or something to some diagrams of what I am doing and will be loooking at.... Never have rebuilt a transaxel only have done t56 from fords..... im a lil lost on this one .... thanks any help will do

I am at work right now, but on my laptop at home I have a pdf of the 90 to 92 manual transmission factory manual. I'll send it to you later on tonight. I don't know if your interested, but I have the engine overhaul section as well for the 4G63. I found em online and downloaded them. I don't remember where from otherwise I'd give you the link.

92 GST Manual Trans.

1. Drain transaxle oil and engine coolant, then remove battery and battery tray.
2. Remove cruise control actuator and bracket, if equipped.
3. Remove air intake hose.
4. Disconnect transaxle control cables and radiator hoses that would interfere with transaxle removal.
5. Disconnect engine wiring harness, back-up light switch, and speedometer connections.
6. Remove transaxle mount bracket, and air compressor if equipped with electronically controlled suspension.
7. Disconnect clutch release cylinder and clutch tube bracket, then remove starter.
8. Remove undercover panel.
9. On models equipped with anti-lock brakes, remove front wheel speed sensors.
10. On all models, remove driveshafts as follows:

a. Disconnect tie rod end and knuckle.
b. Disconnect lower arm ball joint.
c. Disconnect left side driveshaft from bearing bracket and suspend driveshaft with wire.
d. Remove cotter pin and nut, then remove right side driveshaft from hub and transaxle.

11. Remove bearing bracket and shaft assembly.
12. On models with Electronically Controlled Suspension, remove front height sensor rod.
13. On All Wheel Drive (AWD) models, disconnect front exhaust pipe from engine.
14. On all models, remove transfer case attaching bolts, then move transfer case to the left and lower front of transfer case.
15. Remove transfer case from propeller shaft, noting the following:

a. Use caution not to damage transfer case oil seal lip.
b. Suspend propeller shaft so it is not sharply bent.
c. Cover transfer case opening using plug tool No. MB991193 or equivalent to prevent oil leakage and entry of foreign material.

16. On all models, remove transaxle stay, then slide transaxle to the right and lower to remove.
17. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Bolts should be tightened to specification.
b. Refill transaxle with suitable oil and tighten filler and drain plugs.

awesome work guys... alll info is greatly appreciated!!!!! question is fix trans and sell????? car is a low 12 second car when it hooks.... i paid 3 grand for it with the cyclone swap... went 16gbig and ported wit portd 2g mani.... swaped the intake mani back american isssue and wentfmic, gredddy rs bov all hard pipe.. motor is completely built and strand... 3k on oil and its still clear.... the original eprom went bad so i went ahead and had a new eprom set up..... car will hit 28 psi before booost cut.... thats when im wide open at 28 lbs for like 3 seconds hahaha..... past 8 months ive sank 8300 on top of the original sale price...... I came from an 11 sec crx,,, was a honda guy, they just dont handle or ride like dsm...... even got the three red diamonds outlined in black real big on my calf........ question is..... should i sell????? after trasn rebuild????? or continue to drain money into it
