i need some help trying to figure out this problem with my friends GST. we were rideing down the road geting on it at like half throttle and then nothing. the car just died, the rpms droped and it would not start back up. we got it back to the house and we got fuel but no fire out of either coil. i checked and i have fire going to the coils at the connector all three wires have fire and the 2 wires on the back of the coils have fire but no spark? i just dont see both coils going bad but if any of you can help i need to get it back on the road thanks.
 
ok i can try that ill barrow one and switch it and see if thats the problem thanks.
 
yea i was leaning twards the cas myself but how exactly could i check to see if thats it
 
i found out that the balancer shaft belt shreded apart and hit the crank sensor.
