I've heard of this upgrade but never really found any hard info on it. What do I all need in order to upgrade my horrible RS drums to GS/Gst Caliper setup… anyone? And is there any difference between the front setup on my RS as apposed to the GS/Gst's setup?
thanks in advance…

Hey... here are a few complete write-ups of what you need and how to do the conversion...

Also, there are quite a few other threads about this exact topic... do a search for "rear disc conversion" or something along those lines and read up on it! Also, as long as the parts are for 2G FWDs (RS, GS, GS-T), the front brakes are the same! Be glad I answered you before some other people do... they would have ripped you a new one for not searching first and asking such a common question! Good luck! :thumb:

True. :p

PM me if you need any help, I'm in the midst of doing this myself.

I did a search the other day, and could not come up with much maybe I was just keying stuff in wrong?!? thanks guys I appreciate the help. BigRand…on that note I am also looking into a BigBrake upgrade for the front just not sure what components I want to use… Brand A to B decisons......

90's GSX front calipers are 2 piston, you would need to replace disks, torque plate and brake pads also from a GSX

Theres more info located in the Vfaq section, but thats your basic breakdown.

Thats the cheapest route to go, and it rocks too :thumb:
