not really feelin the nt any more so im thinkin about buyin a 97-99 gst with a blown motor an puttin a 6bolt in it anyone got any sites or somthing to find a 6bolt swap?

all the info is on this site.you wanna 6bolt in a 2g? all awnsers to your questions can be awnsered. you have to take the timing belt off so that the 2g driverside motor mount (that you have to use) can be trimed to clear the water pump. you have to disect the wire harness a bit and convert it from a crank angle sensor to a cam angle sensor. like i said all info is here. this swap is deffinatley worth it. hopefully u join the 6bolt2g club. best a luck

You'll need everything from engine to the ECU etc... it might be cheaper just buying a GST , GSX or TSi already swaped. I'm going to look at an 1996 TSi AWD today, guys asking $2000 will see how it looks and sounds when i get there.

you have to but ecu and tranny with sixbolt? uh no. you have a 2g car. u keep your 2g tranny, and your 2g ecu. you use the 2g engine harness. you take the 1g motor and put all the 2g sensors on it. if you want the 6bolt in a 2g car set up. all you need is a six bolt long block. thats it! oh well the 1g intake manni is a must. the 2g manni on a 1g head wont even cover up the ports all the way.

if you can do it i would aslo do a dsm link because i have a six bolt swap done in my spyder and i'm having random cylinder misfire, and from what i can find out about this it is when you do a six bolt swap in a 2g that had a seven bolt there was a sensor that was on the seven bolyt that is not on the six bolt
